After a long period of interest, it has been reported that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will be in demand again in the Saudi Professional League at the end of the 2023/24 season.

The Red Devils rejected a £200m bid from the Etihad before the current season, with Salah one of the biggest names linked with a move to the developing league in the Middle East. However, now, the Daily Mail has reported that the Saudi Professional League is looking to sign Mohamed Salah next summer and that he is the “top target” in the league’s next expansion phase.

After his £200m bid was rejected, it is believed there will be a more strategic move for Salah. The same report said that while SPL’s spending will slow in the coming months, to secure TV and commercial contracts, Salah will be an “exception”.

Salah has one year remaining on his current contract with Liverpool, and it is believed that he is earning 300,000 pounds per week at the present time, which may make the Red Devils consider including the Egyptian star.
