An exceptional talent’ – Jurgen Klopp reveals next Liverpool youngster now ready to be unleashed

Jurgen Klopp handed out the latest Liverpool debut in the 6-1 win over Sparta Prague.

Jurgen Klopp believes Mateusz Mosjawski is Liverpool’s latest young player ready to make the leap into the first team.

It’s been a fantastic season for the young players making their way into the first team. Jarrell Quansah and Connor Bradley are now first-team regulars, while Bobby Clarke scored his first goal for the club in a 6-1 win over Sparta Praha as Liverpool reached the Europa League quarter-finals.

Jayden Dance and Luis Koumas, both 18, scored in a 3-0 win over Southampton in the fifth round of the FA Cup, while James McConnell made his ninth appearance against Sparta.

It was Mosialowski’s turn to make his Liverpool debut from the bench against Sparta when he came on for Clarke in the 73rd minute. The 20-year-old has been in excellent form for the Under-21s this season, scoring six goals and two assists in 13 appearances. But the young Poland international had to be patient when given the opportunity to break into the first team.

However, his chance finally came in victory over Sparta and Klopp believes it was fully deserved. The Liverpool manager told TNT Sport: “I don’t care about the stats [about the number of games allotted for debuts]. It has to be said that Matthaus deserves it. He trained with them and I’ve been here for a few weeks now.” Whether at home or abroad, players are improving.

” Different. He is a special talent but we play football in a unique way. He understands that more and more and now I think he’s really ready. That’s why he got the report, waited long enough and there was another good guy.
